"We had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my birthday here. The property was clean and inviting. The view was amazing! The property manager, Piet, was courteous and informative! We went during the rainy season, but still had a great time. Daytime was warm & we enjoyed the pool and again, the VIEW! Would definitely recommend! "

"We stayed 4 nights at Villa Tamarindo and it did not disappoint. From the welcome email from Joe with directions, to Elias warm greeting and villa tour, to the bonus room for yoga/reading, this villa was amazing. We had 2 couples but will likely return with our kids next time. We were blown away with the beauty of the place! A 4x4 car will be needed if you rent a car which is highly recommended. LOVED IT here! Thank you Joe and Elias!"

"We loved the almost 360 degree views from this home. The pool and outdoor seating options were a plus. Enjoyed the open floor plan, pristine bedding and kitchen. Thanks for a great stay close to everything. "

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"

"You need to stay here. The villa has a beautiful yet casual Balinese style. The casita is spectacular for an extra couple. The views of the layers of mountain and the lighted up valley below at night are spectacular, whether you’re in/around the pool or on the casita back deck. A bit of rain (we went in October) helps cool things down in the afternoons and we mostly sat outside under the covered deck to enjoy it. Almost all mornings were sunny. "Great property with a pool. Location felt very secure and we had a blast visiting nearby towns and points of interest. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper "

"My whole family (parents, siblings, spouse, daughter) stayed at this property six nights. Everything was close by (restaurants, supermarket, gas station) plus the neighborhood is pretty quiet which allowed us to disconnect and have the perfect family time. The house has everything we needed to feel like home."

"Bathrooms need attention and renovation to a more modern standard. Furniture needs to be changed. Sofas were old yellow leather with lots of holes and rips in them. Great location, safe and quiet spot. Very spacious apartments, just need a good shake up."
