"Fantastic home! It is truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in all our years of travel. Elias, the caretaker, met us and showed us through this beautiful home. He was very fast to respond to any of our questions. The home was very clean and the kitchen was extremely well-supplied with appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. A couple of times each day the electrical transmission wires outside the property boundary made a loud buzzing sound. "

"This was our first visit to beautiful Costa Rica. We stayed only a few days in San Jose before we ended our trip on the Pacific side.There were 7 of us traveling together for a family reunion and this hacienda was perfect for us! Plenty of room and easy to get around. The home had everything we could need; full kitchen, washer and dryer, toiletries too. And a huge, well taken care of, yard and garden. The bonus was the neighborhood that has loads of shops, restaurants, food stands and groceries,...

The host and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The six of us had dance parties, pool parties, dinner parties, lots of quiet time, and connection time. "Super host! Very communicative from start to finish. The accommodations were superb. The kids loved the pool area. We were all entertained with the outdoor living space. Everything easy and accessible in the kitchen, to allow for a lot of “at home” meal preparation. The bedrooms very comfortable, and wheelchair accessible (for my father). A gorgeous backyard garden with a strolling path for everyone, including my father. We will all be back!!"

"Our stay was paid and confirmed 60 days prior to our arrival. We arrived 30 mins early only to be told we could not stay as a previous tenant had a pet that caused damage. No advance notice. Took 9 days to get a refund. Avoid this rental."

"Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper "
