"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

"Just under a mile away from the Horley train station and a short drive to the Gatwick airport. Rooms are spread between the first and second floor with shuttle service and breakfast options available. Minor issues with the room where the shower was not draining properly, but was still able to freshen up. Like most houses in the UK no AC units were available in the room, but the window and time of year provided enough cooling needed for the night. Staff are friendly and the rooms were quiet...

"After landing late at LGW all I wanted was a simple, clean, comfortable B&B. The Lawn met that is every aspect. Easy procedure for late check in. It is a £20 taxi ride away from the South Terminal."

"Very friendly and relaxing stay. Lovely clean room with access to the sunny patio area. One side of the bed was sunken on the mattress but I found it very comfortable! Good en suite with soap and shower gel. Take shampoo and conditioner if you need it. Would happily stay again "

"I really like this place , I stayed here a few years ago and the standard has remained high . It’s comfortable ,the staff are friendly and helpful and it’s really good value for money .Breakfast is excellent as is the food generally - had the best steak I’ve had in a long while for dinner . "

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic.
