"Pictures don't do this place justice. Super well taken care of home in the middle of gods country. If you need a place to escape this is it. The home has any extras you might be missing. They have thought of everything. The house and beds are very comfortable. I wish every place I stayed was this nice. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. "This property is very remote but there is a small town about 10 minutes away. Host is very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was no wi-fi internet, no cell service and no land-line. So we were completely cut off from the outside world and we survived! Host was very apologetic about wi-fi that was cut out by Hurricane Helene and has not been able to be fixed, yet. "Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. While it was cold and snowy outside we were able to relax in a spacious home and also partake of the hot tub. Large fenced backyard was great for the pup while in the summer it would combine great with the pool and outdoor amenities!"

"From booking to departure communication was on point. Upon entering there was a welcome basket with home instructions, waters and snacks. Such a nice welcome! The home was stocked with everything you need to start your trip, right down to coffee (kcups) cream, sugar and breakfast bars! The kitchen was well stocked. "This was our second time back at Charlie and Jill's property. We love it and we love them. They are fantastic hosts. Always available if we need them. I feel like we are friends at this point. The house is always clean and there was plenty of wood to burn. Hell they even had a bag of charcoal for the grill.
