"If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. "Very welcoming check in and out. Room number 2. Large comfortable room and bathroom. Quiet. Toiletries, coffee machine, tea, biscuits, water provided. Approx 20 mins walk into city centre (a bit of a hill coming back up but perfectly do-able). Tasty large breakfast (paid for separately) Very friendly. Will definitely stay again"

"We booked an overnight stay as having a girls weekend in Bath. I chose this hotel for the location, value and from previous reviews. Firstly the staff were all very warm, welcoming and professional. The hotel is a stones throw walking distance to the local bus stops ( bus goes straight through to Bath £3 pp each way) our bedroom was let's say a little dated as such and needed a little TLC but it was clean and tidy, basic necessities in place and spacious for a twin. "Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
