"It is about 2 miles from Duomo. Easy to get to by bus and metro. But the metro went on strike and we had to walk from the Duomo which was a little difficult. No fault of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was outside our room which was a little weird and uncomfortable but it was private. Staff was very friendly. "The hotel was great easy to access. The room temperature was hot, i tried to change it myself but it didnt work so i had to sleep with the balcony door open. Overall what would make the hotel perfect is if it had a front desk. However i didn't have any issues with checkin or getting into my room."

"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building.
