"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...

"Had excellent stay in The Bull at Woolpit. Great selection of breakfast options, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, full english small and large, toast, coffee and tea. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room with view over Woolpit roofs and garden. Evening meal was excellent value for money and superbly cooked. We ate in the restaurant every evening. The owners and the staff work extremely well together. We will definitely be returning soon. "

"Overall decent stay. The 2 problems I had where shower and bed, the shower keeps on going freezing cold to scolding hot and bed is very fragile feeling and sounding as well as not comfortable to sleep in. It was nice having kitchen though and the room was nice and decent size. "
