"I cannot give this hotel more praise!!! We checked in and n Friday. They weee courteous and friendly. The coms before leaving were also excellent. We went to our room which had all the amenities you need and a terrific shower! We went down stairs to the bar and booked our table for dinner. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! "The restaurant is great—delicious food and a breakfast buffet with plenty of options to kick-start your morning. The staff? Friendly. But there's an interesting duality to this place: you've got the Ibis side and the Mercure side. I never ventured over to the Mercure part, but it seemed to attract a lively professional crowd as well as some older guests. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their main bread and butter. Meanwhile, the Ibis side—where we stayed—had this trendy ghost town vibe....

"Better than we expected, just needed this hotel to sleep for a few hours while on the road. There was a fridge and microwave which was perfect for us as we had milk for our 1 year old. Bed was big and comfortable. Clean sheets, towels and soap in the bathroom. Self check-in was fine even at midnight. We had low expectations due to the price, but were pleasantly surprised in the end - this is just a roadside hotel, so it's not luxury but we had a good night's sleep! "

"Overnight stopover, although in the city the underground parking and 24 hour reception made it a good option. My phone map showed the hotel on the opposite side of the road for some odd reason and we had to ask how to access the underground garage (from Avenue de Caen), but once we found it a good hotel. Comfortable night sleep, clean bedding and bathroom and and the bathroom looked recently done up. Friendly staff. Tasty and convenient breakfast included (continental with eggs and sausages). "
