"The check-in was quick, seamless and the lass on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful, telling us everything we needed and asking if we had any food allergies. The room was clean, no marks, dust, well presented and had all the amenities we required. "If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced."

"Luxurious hotel with beautiful rooms. Bed was super comfortable and huge. Gorgeous immaculately clean bathroom with rainfall shower and free standing bath. Leigh was so welcoming, helpful and professional. The Bistro staff were also great. Lovely breakfast selection. Great location. Lots to do and see nearby."

"Room was nice but very very hot and uncomfortable at points during night. Breakfast was disappointing as breakfast stotties ordered and one was cold and the other was half empty. Also coffee machine was not working and it was noted to make americano but it was very watery and they wouldn’t provide a caffietere or pot of tea which they used to. Service at this point was disappointing as they noted they didn’t want to make the coffee. "
