"Great location, easy to find using SatNav, and attentive staff. The room was decent with a powerful shower and tea/coffee making, comfy bed, decent space with desk & chair. Whilst the carpets on the staircases seem a bit dated, otherwise it was a splendid stay with a cracking good breakfast! And love the peacocks strutting around the grounds!"

"The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Windermere. The pool was a short drive away, and as we were there for only a couple of nights we didn't get to use it. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit to Windermere. "

"This is a wonderful gem of a hotel. All the rooms come with a spa type room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway "

"I stayed a few nights for work. The room was beautiful, warm on arrival and spotlessly clean. The parking up the steep drive can be a bit tricky and there was no space for me on the second night so I had to park in the next street. This wasn’t ideal but everything else was great so I’ve not marked them down for it. Breakfast was out of this world! "
