The only improvement I would suggest for the house is a few extra blankets/snuggle blankets around. A couple friends got chilly and there wasn't really anything. "To say this place was beautiful is an understatement. We had issues with the air conditioning when we arrived but Matt called me and assured me he would get a HVAC guy out ASAP. It was fixed right away, which of course you can’t foresee this things so we appreciated their quickness in getting fixed. Lots of cute shops and restaurants in walking distance and Damascus is only 15 min away also. Our whole crew of 6 would HIGHLY recommend staying here and we will again when we come back.."

"Abingdon is such a beautiful place, and we so enjoyed our first visit here. Shelley’s rental is charming and beautiful as well, and we loved being right in town, where we could walk to shops and dinner. So many historic houses and being able to stay in one was a treat."

"Loved our stay. Having the kayaks were a blessing. Fishing was fun and activities we done around the area. A few things we could suggest would be a broom and couple of trash bags would have nice. The trash was left in the garage so it stuck to high heaven. We couldn’t enjoy the ping pong table because of it. Otherwise we had a wonderful, relaxing stay . Thank you"

"A group of friends and I stayed over a long weekend. The house is cozy and comfortable, with enough space to stretch out. Coffee on the covered porch in the morning overlooking the farms and hills was a treat. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed for some nice meals.
