"I was hesitant after reading some of the previous complaints, but booked The Cove on a whim. I absolutely LOVED my stay. It was in a quite, safe neighborhood and we were able to walk anywhere that we needed to go! The view of the beach across the street was wonderful and we loved that we could open the windows and catch the ocean breeze. We felt safe sleeping with the windows open and were never awakened by other guests or traffic noises. Complaints that I reviewed said that they had a difficult time finding the entrance: We walked (2 older women) with ease to the place in the early evening from the train station and found our entrance with ease. Another complaint - this is a self-check in facility. I loved that I didn't have to bother with anyone and the instructions were very easy to follow! I am technically challenged and had NO issues. Unexpected bonus - there is a filtered water refill in the downstairs "club house'. We also had a wonderful selection of simple breakfast come and go items that worked great for grabbing and eating lunch later at a restaurant. We actually appreciated the fact that this was a sleepy town as things do close relatively early. We found it refreshing and enjoyed retiring early so that we were refreshed to walk again in the a.m. The shower was great too! The only con: I thought that there would be a couch that could be made into a bed but it was just a futon. "
