"A beautiful isolated and private traditional house in lovely surroundings. Comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. Bedrooms very private with personal staircases to each. Decor very attractive and interesting as was the story of the house in the book on the table. The one bathroom downstairs with the three bedrooms upstairs was a little inconvenient but manageable. (A non slip shower mat would have been appreciated), all in all an experience not to have been missed. The morning sunrise was...

"House was clean but had heavy cigarette smoke with the smell of deodorizer trying to cover it up. I don’t complain about much but I hate that smell. Other than that everything worked out."

"This location was a last minute replacement for another rental that backed out. The host was responsive from the start. The home was clean and the home had everything we needed! We had three couples stay and each of us had our own bathroom. We all really enjoyed the experience. The pool was a nice respite on hot afternoons. I highly recommend this location!!"

"The property was good overall, however I have two complaints one there were nails sticking out of the carpet on the steps that my 4 year old found by stepping on them which in turn caused her foot to bleed. And dog poop in the backyard. "

"This was a beautiful historic home on an expansive property. Plenty of room for ten adults and beautifully decorated. Nice welcome gifts were on site at check in, all amenities provided, communication with owner was prompt and service was exceptional. Our adult kids enjoyed the pool, we had 2 beautiful sunsets and crystal clear starry skies at night. It was hot outside, but AC worked well, even though this is a historic renovated home. "This property was a short drive to the caves and water park and was very quiet. There was another group that stayed in the larger home closer to the street and we wouldn’t have known they were there had we not seen their cars. We got to enjoy the pool before they arrived which was nice. We’d forgotten our beach towels, but they were provided by the property owners. We were surprised with home made cupcakes which was a nice touch . All-in all we really loved this stay and would stay again."

"This was our second time staying at the historical home. This year we had 10 people, last year we had 17 total! There is plenty of space for our family and we love all of the charm and character. The owners are super nice and very responsive. We will definitely be back again! "
