"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "

"We love the Airlie however there is one serious need. Every room is entirely hardwood flooring and no carpets, rugs, or throw rugs of any kind. If it rains then water gets everywhere and theres nowhere to put your shoes. Puddles everywhere. If there's snow like it did this week then there are puddles from your luggage, puddles from your shoes, and wet socks."

"It is so cute. We stayed in the Rapidan. It was lovely but the bathroom could use some updating. The exterior needs help which is sad because it is both historical and charming. Hopefully they will get an investor to help and make it into a wedding venue to bring in additional money. The staff is beyond helpful and nice. We would stay there again. "

"We had a wonderful time at Jen & John’s cottage! It was so peaceful and relaxing and they are wonderful hosts. They gave us a tour of their farm property and let us feed and play with their farm animals. We got to hear all about them and that was such a treat! "My husband and I (and our pups) spent an amazing week in the cabin during the fall. The cabin itself is very clean, well appointed, and modern.
