"The lodge had been double booked so another family was already settled into the lodge when I arrived with my two children and family dog. My sister and brother in law arrived from a long journey from Oxford shortly after with their dog. We were planning to celebrate a special birthday and wanted this quite stay after our recent family bereavement. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. "Perfect! A fabulous room upgrade. Excellent facilities. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Plenty of space to relax and in a great location with parking available. Quick and easy check in. What made it outstanding was the very friendly staff. Especially the helpful man who was on check in. Wish I’d asked his name to give him a personal shout out as he was so welcoming and helpful. "

"Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"
