"The cottage is cute and has everything you need to enjoy some time away from the busyness and stress of life. The area is quiet and full of friendly people. Turk Lake Inn served delicious food and had friendly wait staff. My husband enjoyed catching and releasing the fish and the kayaks were nice and easy to take around the lake. My girls managed to get out in rafts to swim in the middle of the lake a bit. We loved it and will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your cottage."

"This was our third annual family stay at Derby Lodge. We are a large group, ranging in age from 6 to 85, and everyone loves the house and the lake. We love to swim, fish, kayak, and paddle board. We caught lots of bass and bluegill from the dock and out on the pedal boat. Lake is crystal clear with sandy shallow entry. Not much boat traffic, so kids can swim and paddle safely. House is sparkling clean, well appointed, fully stocked kitchen. We love to cook and the grocery store is just a couple...

"We met our son from CMU here for a 4 day stay. We really enjoyed fishing and bonfires. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was surprisingly quiet and we caught pike, bass, and bluegill right from the dock. Our youngest son loved playing in the sandy beach. We’ll definitely be back."

"The cottage was right on the lake. You could open the blinds and look out to see beautiful lake views. The cottage is clean and cozy. Had a fire pit and dock along with a paddle boat. Perfect for our small family including our little dog. The neighbors were very friendly. It was very quiet. Very calming."

"What a great little place! We had a family wedding in the area and we drove from Iowa and this was the perfect place to stay. My son and his friend drove up from Georgia to stay with us. I didn't realize there was not a TV or even internet! But guess what, we all survived! And we were too busy anyway. The Cracker Box, was neat and tidy, the hosts were the best!!
