Windy weekend
Great set up for fishing place! Caught some trout and gaf top. Quick access to bait shop and by boat to Laguna Madre. Problem we had was a strong southeast wind and the front door on south side would not lock. We just put a chair in front of it. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn't working so I kept busy. Had an ant problem from around the stove, but we had some spray to fix that while we were there.

Spacious and great location
We had a great stay. The house is spacious and comfortable. Loved the deck, the pier, and the screened in sun room. Fishing was great from the pier. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Only small cons were dirty utensils, some with fish scales, and the roaches, but thats to be expected when by the water. Host was great and promply addressed any issues or questions we had. We would definitely book this place again.

Our Go-to Place
This was our 5th time staying at the property. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It's a big place, with plenty of room for our friends and an open, fully-appointed kitchen. We love the large dock and palapas - a nice place to sit, fish, and watch the sun go down. Gloria is never more than a phone call away and couldn't be nicer.

This was our 3rd stay. All have been very nice overall. As in our previous stays however, we were unable to lock the outer doors to secure our belongings when we were not there. We were given a key but could not get it to lock the door. Another minor issue was the hot water. It took a long time to get any. Minor but frustrating. Overall it was great and we have booked it for next year.

The property was big and beautiful. The pictures online don’t do the property any justice. I enjoyed my stay and would consider coming back in the spring. There was more than enough room, we even had empty beds.

Overall stay & house were great. The VRBO communication & listed check in procedure was not. We had a mis-communication with the property manager (who was great!) because VRBO never provided me the contact information to be in touch with the property manager before we arrived. Spectacular as always
Another great stay in Arroyo City. Staying here each year is a home-away-from-home experience. The house is inviting, warm and spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. A real treat this year was the new television and Roku, so we didn't have to miss our favorite shows. We love the private fishing dock, and the large, elevated palapas is a great way to watch the sun set every evening. You won't be disappointed!

overall this was a great place. we had some friends stop over for a day trip to see us and it was wonderful to have all of us in the yard and palapa made the area seem so much more spacious. Gloria was AMAZING and is always helpful.
