"Stayed here over Christmas for my 40th birthday and have nothing but good things to say about them. The place was clean and beautiful and the food at the Restaurante Cocorri was phenomenal. But the most memorable part was the way they treated me when I got hurt. I tripped walking up the step and dislocated my pinky. Jeremy (I believe is the manager) drove me to the hospital himself, AND gave me cash for a ride back. ¡Excelentes hospitalidades!"

"Overall a great out of the way place right on the ocean, if you like crashing waves and long beaches even better. You need a car to take advantage of the rural location and the nice drive down the coast. The staff were good with some English. The down side to my room which was very clean and spacious for Costa Rica was, they have taken out the fridge, microwave and no coffee pot! The restaurant there does have good food but after breakfast you are paying. "

"5 star Top rating for the location and amenities. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor. Maverick, the hotel front desk concierge, was very friendly and patient with us. He welcomed us on our first day and answered all of our questions. Maverick arranged all our tours with Andy for the night tour and Abel for the morning boat tour. Both did a fantastic job, but especially Abel, who went above and beyond on the wildlife tour. "Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...
