"I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. The TV reception is a bit sketchy for the foreign channels but the WiFi is good enough to watch things on your own devices. "

"Auf den Bildern sah die Unterkunft ok aus. Entweder waren die Bilder alt oder es war gut fotografiert. Dort angekommen war ich erstmal geschockt... Die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig. Zudem sehr abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt. Gegen alt habe ich nichts aber ganz sollte es schon sein. Schmutzige Töpfe, dreckige Schränke, in der Waschmaschine wollte ich auch nichts waschen... Die Umgebung war jetzt auch nicht das optimale. Wir haben das Beste draus gemacht aber werden sicher nicht wieder...

"Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. But it invited some bugs too.. and noise of trams& cars passing by. Extra towels would have been helpful, we had to wash...

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "Not going to lie it was difficult to find and 3pm check in is to late, they let me check in early but if they hadn't it would have ruined my trip, found it hard to heat the place up!"

"Average accommodation. Specifically booked as it said parking available. True but 300 yards away in a multi story! Also was a nightmare to find by car. Inaccessible in actual fact. Air con didn't work either. No duvet for sofa bed. Got glass in foot in the kitchenette. And thought Basel very expensive and average. All in all, a rather forgetable experience. "

Basel, Zürich und der Rheinfall sind alle mit Tagesausflügen leicht zu erreichen und wandern kann man auch gehen. Auch ist der Ort mit Zug zu erreichen - da sollte man so 20 Gehminuten einplanen."

"Enjoyed a 2 week stay, great location up the mountain, easy access to everything, but quiet at night. Apartment is a good size, has everything you need, ( apart from perhaps a dishwasher), bathroom and kitchen could do with a refurb, but then again it's pretty well priced. Hosts were very friendly and were there to welcome us and wave us off when we left"

"We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. "Pros- inexpensive (not cheap) and in the best location. It’s safe, and can be safely accessed with great internet connectivity. Cons- there is a huge delay between your problem and their solution. Ex: Someone smoked in my room prior - it wasn’t reported so I could be assigned a new room. I had one pillow and need 2. I had one towel - and need 2. "

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel early December as part of a break to visit the Christmas Markets - exemplary customer service at all times, thoughtful and supportive staff, lovely/well equipped room, very clean and comfortable. Lovely location with only a short walk to the centre (trams and buses stop outside the hotel if you do not wish to walk the short distance). After many years of business travel and many stays around the world, the service at this hotel was nothing less than exceptional. Our thanks to the dedicated staff and their exemplary customer focus and making our stay an absolute pleasure."
