Apartments in Basel-Landschaft

"Ok place to stay with a small kitchenette, close to the train station & shops, and food places that are open relatively later during the evening. Note: there is no reception deck. You have to connect through emails/ calls. The same code is used to enter the building, your room, and other sections. The issue is that one is supposed to get code a day in advance, which has not worked well for 2 times I have stayed here. One gets a quick response after contacting the Vision Apartments support team...

"Very basic reception and service. Simple old fashioned room. Very clean. Tepid water and weak heating."

"Lumen apartments are great. Very nice parking, bed, shower, kitchen. The only complaint was a drainage smell that was coming out of the kitchen sink. We couldn’t figure it out while we were there but I need to mention that management responded really quick to all my emails or phone calls and offered to send someone to check the smell but we were out all day and only come to the apartment to sleep so we were able to tolerate the smell for a little bit. "

"The studio flat is exactly as shown in the photos. However, if you travel during summer, consider that it gets quite warm as there is only one window and air does not circulate a lot. The room was not ready by check-in time. Also, although they said the cleaning service was every 3 days, this only happened once and skipped the 2nd cleaning day. "This apartment was just as pictured and located in a beautiful area with good walking access to public transport, dining, and shopping. Carmen was very accommodating and was quick to respond to messages if we needed anything. My friend, my boyfriend and I stayed here during a visit for Basler Fasnacht and it was exactly what we needed. We would all highly recommend this beautiful apartment!"

"Wrong code provided for lockbox!! No hot water at 8pm. Property was worn out, needed renovation 30+ years ago. Musty/mildewy smell. Will make me shy away from VRBO properties in the future."
