"A spectacular property in the midst of one of the great wine regions on the planet. The site and amenities, including the waters and spa, are wonderful. Unfortunately, the food and service, especially the food service, do not do justice to the site itself. If you have other lunch and dinner options, definitely use them (and there are many in the Ribera). The breakfasts are ok, not spectacular, and the food service in particular is subpar, not worthy of the magnificence of the property. Having to...

"Amazing stay. Beautiful historical building from the 16th Century and it was once the university of Catalina. Room is big. Breakfast was great, too. The highlight is the spa and the building itself. Will definitely come back if I come back to El Burgo de Osma."

"The hotel is an old castle high up above the valley - how fantastic is that? Wonderful character with plenty to wander around and explore. We would have enjoyed the views from the rooftop terrace had the weather been a bit warmer but we enjoyed looking around the hotel and relaxing with a drink in the main central room. There was no bar as such but drinks were available from reception and we had a great meal in the restaurant. Good service throughout our stay."

"Stayed here a few years back and it was excellent. This time was a little disappointed. Room was not up to a 5 star hotel. On arrival tv didn’t work and room as awfully hot. Bathroom outdated. However, food at the restaurant was excellent and so was service. Thy got things taken care of very professionally. "
