"My husband, three year old daughter and I had a lovely stay at the lighthouse. Perfect location, 5 minute walking distance to town and a stones throw from the beach. The apartment is really modern, a quiet and relaxing space for a long weekend. My daughter loved the bunk beds! Could have been a little cleaner - quite dusty and lots of cobwebs. Sheets and towels were very fresh and clean but there were a few stains on most of them so could be time to replace. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again "

"This is a beautifully positioned property, sea to the front, reed marshes and countryside to the rear. The lodge has been wonderfully refurbished and extended. Everything you could possibly need is catered for; beautiful, comfortable furnishings and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend to anyone, but don't book all the weeks up - we would love to return again and again.Many thanks to our hosts Ben and Caroline."

"The apartment is lovely comfortable and well equipped. It is near the sea and the centre of town. You can park outside without fear of charges. Southwold is charming and friendly with great offering of places for foodies. I recommend an Adnams tour. We did the distillery one but you prefer beer, Adnams is delicious. We spent most of time walking, visiting things in and out of town and coming and going from the property. It is a very good place to stay and relax. It gets great reviews because it deserves it. "
