"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"What a wonderful stay. We had the best week and so sad to have to leave. Lots to see near by, and a beautiful home to come back to. The pool was fabulous and we lived in it every afternoon! "We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners...

La cuisine bien fonctionnelle contenait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner avec suffisamment de plats, verres et ustensiles. La maison était bien fraîche malgré le temps chaud et la piscine bien appréciée. Un endroit où il fait bon passer le temps!"

"We had an idyllic week in early June as a family of 7 adults, so were able to make the most of the lovely pool and BBQ area. The property is beautiful and well equipped and the setting in Murs simply could not be better - a beautiful but off the beaten track village with some great walking on the doorstep, a fantastic restaurant in the village and an excellent boulangerie within a few minutes walk of the house. And really accessible for many of the other things to see in the Luberon and beyond,...

"We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property tucked away in the gorgeous countryside of Provence. The setting is idyllic with gardens, pool, and outdoor dining. The host Danielle, provided excellent communication with us and the grounds keeper was also helpful. The house was perfect for our family - with separate sleeping wings and comfortable communal spaces. We visit the area often and look forward to staying here again soon. "

"The property has terrific views, a great swimming pool for small kids, a well-equipped kitchen and extensive grounds. Only one room, a bedroom, has air conditioning and the lower bedrooms can become very stuffy in the heat. The garden is full of odd damaged items which can’t be used. It could do with sorting out."

"This is a glorious, quiet and serene property within 5 minutes walk uphill into the village. So calming and beautiful and several room options, although all upstairs. Great, large clean (unfenced) pool - so hypervigilance needed with small children. It was mid-summer hot and we think some room fans would be helpful as the automatic airconditioning was not quite adequate in the bedrooms. These are small criticisms of what is a magnificent holiday rental for a large group."
