"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property tucked away in the gorgeous countryside of Provence. The setting is idyllic with gardens, pool, and outdoor dining. The host Danielle, provided excellent communication with us and the grounds keeper was also helpful. The house was perfect for our family - with separate sleeping wings and comfortable communal spaces. We visit the area often and look forward to staying here again soon. "

We knew from photos it would be a mas and not a modern tickytacky but seeing those stones sweeping up to the deep blue sky, an early cicada softly chugging away and is that he POOL!!!! M. "We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and we all had such a great time using the amazing kitchen and eating eating outside. The owner and lady who met us on arrival were very kind and helpful. The only downside was some very grumpy neighbours who were very unreasonable about the kids making noise in the pool. This did make us have to constantly worry about the kids being in the pool and limiting their time in there which isn’t great I’m 40degree heat."

"This would be great for a get away from it all break. But it was too remote for us, so we ended up going to Cannes for 3 days! House was nice, couple of gripes Bedroom door did not close which was awkward as we stayed with friends. Lots of wasps so stung a few times but it’s the edge of a forest. "We had a very enjoyable stay at Montjustin. Gisele is the perfect host - friendly and welcoming, available if needed. Nature is very much on the doorstep - animals, birds, insects and flowers, surrounded by lovely countryside, which was easy to explore from the house. Great views from the swimming pool.
