"I loved the age of the building, dating in parts from 1470, and fitting in with the historical architecture and atmosphere of Bruges. My spacious room overlooked the canal, which was a treat. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre and a perfect base for exploration on foot. The breakfast buffet selection is excellent. All the staff members I met were extremely helpful and friendly."

"Service and facilities can't be faulted. It was excellent and made my stay enjoyable. Besides the excellent service, it is affordable and well situated, being 10 minutes or so walk from most of the important sights and restaurants. The rail station is also a 15-20min walk away, while a bus stop/interchange is 5 minutes walk away. "Great location and the comfiest of beds! Our room was basic, no tea/coffee or fridge etc but that was fine for us, there was water though. Like others have said, there are areas that are in need of some tidying up but none of it would affect your stay. Breakfast was great, i wasn't expecting much after reading some reviews but it was all fresh and plentiful. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, we were just there for a night so maybe I'd prefer more room facilities if i was to stay longer."
