"Nice room and pleasant staff . Very good breakfast , Only thing that tainted our stay was the dog was not allowed to eat in restaurant and we were directed to the bar or outside . Neither was an option as the bar was packed due to sport and outside was cold . So no evening meal . Some leniency on our dog in restaurant would have been appropriate given the situation . "

"A fantastic property, spotlessly clean and with everything you can possibly need for a home-from-home stay. Good communication with owners, the welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk was a lovely thought, comfortable beds, and a lovely garden (though the weather wasn't brilliant when we visited). "Perfect place to stay! The house and garden is amazing. Lovely and clean with everything you could need for a long or short break away. We were having a friends group trip away and we loved spending the evening at the large table to play games or relaxing in the garden. We would highly reccomend cox hill house to anyone and we hope to stay again in the future. Owners were also amazing and very helpful/friendly should you need anything."

"Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. It would be lovely to return one day. "
