"Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend."

Although there was sometimes noise from neighboring rooms, it didn't ruin the overall impression. The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was done regularly, which added to our comfort."
