"This hotel is very conveniently located for events at Spark Arena, about a 3min walk, if that. Also less than 10min to bottom of Queen Street and Britomart / Commercial Bay shopping. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The only negative was the inconsistency of timing for room service, every day we ended up being in the room when they came to change the towels, etc. But the staff were all extremely nice when we interacted with them. "Always enjoy our stay here. The room we got this time had a rather hard bed so not a good rest. Unusual so next time well make sure there is a topper pad, otherwise a great place to stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay at abstract. The beds were a little on the small size to fit my husband (6ft2) and I comfortably. I slept on the couch for the second night. My sons favourite teddy was misplaced too whilst the sheets were being changed, we’re hoping to get it back soon. "
