"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. The stunning views are worth the walk up the steep hill and the hosts who live upstairs were friendly and helpful taking us to and from the station at the beginning and end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle with luggage. "This was a great place for me and my new puppy to bond! Convenient to grocery store, other shopping. Comfortable bed, all necessary facilities. Easy access to train and bus stations although I had a rental car which I usually used for excursions to other local areas. Excellent customer service."

"I stayed here for a week mid-September and enjoyed every minute. The property is situated on the hill across from downtown… away from the noise. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with everything anyone would need. The sound of the river helps one sleep well. The bus to/from the town and various transportation centers in Grindelwald can be found about 150 feet (50M) from the door. I would definitely stay here again."

"Incredible apartment with spacious rooms, soaring ceilings, tasteful furnishings and a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen! Location was excellent…convenient to everything! "This was an amazing place. Apartment was big clean and perfect for friends and family getaway. Plenty of room for everyone and different gathering places in the apartment. Kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking. We did a fee meals in and a few at near by restaurants. Bedrooms were big and had plenty of storage space, beds were comfortable. We will be back next year. It was close to everything, hills train shopping groceries and ski rentals. "
