"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Grengiols verbracht und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Ort, ist aber trotzdem ruhig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei Anreise mit dem Zug muss man berücksichtigen, dass der Bahnhof ein ganzes Stück unterhalb des Ortes liegt. Der Weg ist aber auch mit Gepäck machbar. Im Dorfladen gegenüber gibt es sogar frische Brötchen und auch sonst eigentlich alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

The living room has a beautiful light in the afternoon. The residence is rather quiet The charming village of Ernen is only a few minutes away walking. All excursions are very conveniently reachable by car or by walking to the village and in the surroundings. There is a road with some traffic just behind...

"Very clean, as described, perfect view of Eiger. Very quiet. It is very far from town. Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. Make sure to stock up on basics like coffee pods and oil for cooking."

The location is amazing: within walking distance from the cable car and beautiful hikes in the valley, a short drive to other cable cars, and only 1.25-1.5 hours away from Zermatt by car. The apartment was perfect for us and very large (we are a family of four). It is super-clean, extremely well-equipped, and is both cozy and spacious.
