"We live in northern Belize about 35 miles south of Bacalar and wanted a nice quiet, low-key get away. Just for R & R. We cooked some things before we came and made other things while we were there, but also enjoyed the local fare. The pictures were accurate. "Everything was great with our stay Oct 26th 2024 for one night however when I booked 2 days prior it said I would be charged at the property at checkin but was still immediately charged $75.94. When I checked in at the property on 26th they charged me another $76.90. It has been 3 calls now to request a refund and 2 weeks after still nothing. This was my only concern."

"Nice location right on the lagoon. The pods are good - there’s lights, electric sockets and a fan. The openings to our pod were ripped and the zip handles damaged and a little difficult to open and close. The light breakfast was good. "

"The hotel was under construction, but the worker's where mindful of the noise. The rooms where great, lots of space. The only thing missing was closet, iron and hair drier in the room, this was a inconvenience because we had to share the iron. Staff was super friendly and helpful with regards to sights and dining options."
