Hotel staff intimate they have outsourced it to the shack at the back of hotel. They haven’t, it is owned & run by same hotel. Breakfast consists of half a glass of orange (if they have it), a bowl of fruit consisting of 1/2 grape, yes 1/2 grape, a slice of kiwi fruit finely chopped, and a small piece of melon finely chopped. "The host was cooperative and tried to help correct a mess-up. The unit I booked was given to somone else and I was sent to a lower quality unit without adjusting the rate. I was also presented with additional fees which almost doubled the rent agreed to with Expedia. I don't mind paying ut wgat I object to is the lack of transparency"

"It failed my white napkin wipe test for cleanliness. The desk staff is great. Jose and Tiago helped me with directions and how to use the transportation system and places to eat etc. I think the mattress is the thing they need to improve. The primary reason for a hotel is to sleep and the mattress is worn out. Time to replace it. "

The pool spa area is lovely but not masive, was fine for us as we stayed off season but imagine it would get very busy peak season, shame rooftop bar was closed in november, but good views from bar on 12th floor. The very fancy shops are 5 mins away, but centre of town is more like 20-35 mins away if like me you like a walk, if not bus/metro within 5-7mins so convenient if not the closest. Good...
