"Another amazing house and stay for our entire family; children, adults and seniors. The views from the house are something else and the private geo thermal pool absolutely the best. Enjoyed it an entire day while taking a break from sight seeing as windy -4C gave us that excuse. We were blessed with seeing the Aurora every night from the pool - indescribable amazing experience! Both houses we stayed in by Heidrun and Rob made our family iceland trip so much more special! Thank you 😀"

"This cottage was a great place to stay while exploring the golden circle. It is in a very quiet area, away from city lights for a better chance to see the northern lights. The natural hot tub was a great place to relax in the evenings and the unique glass bubble bedroom is just amazing! It’s set up well to keep you plenty warm at night."

"Gljúfurbústaðir is a lovely place, perfectly positioned for exploring the South Coast or doing the Golden Circle. Very spacious. Hot tub a nice bonus. Not a big deal, but the hot water smells strongly of sulphur (low carbon footprint!). "

"I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed two separate nights during my travels and these cottages are so well equipped for a home away from home. Everything you could want is provided, they really have thought of everything. The cottages were beautiful, clean, comfortable and the views were stunning! They have plugs for EV cars at each cottage too which is a bonus for people driving e cars. I got to meet one of the owners, she was lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must stay...

"This charming, cozy summerhouse made us a warm home for a midweek. Amidst several highlights like the Geysir, Kerið crater and Þingvellir - but also in good driving distance of Reykjavik and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a long day away in the cold and the large deck offered us a mesmerising view of aurora / Northern lights 3 out of 5 nights! When visiting Iceland again, we’ll most definitely return to Hulduheimar."

"I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. "

"Beautiful home, great location, loved the sauna. Only 2 of the 3 beds were made before our party arrive so we had to hunt for the extra bedding but non issue in the end. Great coffee, shower and heated floors awesome! Highly recommend "

"so beautiful wooden house with full equipments, anything you need will be found in house. my kids so much enjoy playing trampoline and hot tub. location is so close to golden circle, very convenient for travelling. highly recommended for family with kids."

"Cute, cozy cottage located in rural Iceland. Beautiful scenery around the cottage including a small waterfall nearby. Would have been excellent spot to view northern lights, unfortunately the weather didn’t work out for us. Would definitely recommend to others!"
