"Excellent hotel. Staff very accommodating. Bedrooms beautiful and clean. Bathroom spacious. We had a lakeside room and the view was lovely. Pool and spa area lovely too, with excellent changing rooms. Gardens well kept, with plenty of seats to have an afternoon drink or just an hour relaxing and reading. Cannot recommend enough. Will definately consider on our next trip to the lakes. "

"Hotel was clean, food was good with generous portions. Staff friendly with one exception. The bloke on reception desk was more interested in the football match commentary on the radio than attending to guests. Other discrepancies evolved, all bar one where "to much trouble" for Mr. Attitude on reception. A two night stay ruined by the Attitude ofva single member of staff. "

"If I had read my emails before arrival I would’ve found out about the parking being over the road but even so, staff at reception gave me all the information I needed and allocated a permit for us. Everywhere was so clean and neat and the reception staff were so helpful and engaging, giving us some local information and also discussing driving routes etc. room was beautiful- lovely deep bath, iron and board, hairdryer all good quality. Only issue we had was the heating, we couldn’t turn it...

"Hotel has obviously come a long way, rooms and reception looks great, hallways and bar need a recarpet which is coming and scaffolding on front will come down. Will be a great hotel as soon as it's finished, great staff, really helpful. Car park is small but there's free parking opposite overnight and you can move your car in the morning it's fine. Would recommend "

"Really nice stay, staff were fabulous, they even made a fuss over our dog. Food was fab also. The only thing I would change is to pay more for a bigger room but that’s on us. Highly recommended "
