"The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower "

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool was fantastic for children and open from 7-7. A lovely touch to have a child’s welcome pack. The duck food was a lovely idea too and our daughter really enjoyed it. A great base to explore with the aquarium, steam boat and steam train on the doorstep. About to 10-20mins from other shops. "

"Excellent Period property. As an older building we were unsure what to expect but it’s immaculate throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were delighted to be checked in 3 hours prior to the arranged time. Couldn’t be more conveniently located a minute walk from the castle and the Main Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. They don’t have onsite parking but there is a very safe pay and display car park 3 minutes walk away which was only £14 for 24 hours. That’s much...

"For the price we paid for two adults and two children for a night's stay the accommodation was perfect. Arrived early and our room was already ready for us, staff really good, entertainment in main bar good. Would definitely recommend hotel to anyone and as we've been before would definitely return ourselves."
