"This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"This was a stunning property, with glorious views and ideally located for day explorations of nearby hill top villages. We had lovely days visiting sights in the morning then lounging on the terrace and by the pool. Our son adored playing the pool (which in July was nice and shaded by 4pm, an ideal time for playing before dinner/BBQ). "

"We loved the location of this unique property with beautiful views of the river. Very quiet with nature surroundings. Our dog felt at home and we could leave her in the big garden while we were out. Anne is very helpful and accommodating our needs. We liked it so much we are coming again for Christmas with the whole family."

"Four restaurants right outside our door. Can walk to everything. Saturday farmers market fabulous food patissseree cathedral a few minute walk. Fun restaurant with music and fun locals on the corner to the right of the house another very good restaurant with prices fix right across from it. We did not try the first restaurant as you turn right out of the door or the last one on the left"

"The gite is in a very rural location. It was generally ok. We stayed 3 nights, the one bedroom has a very slanted roof and it’s easy to bang your head on the ceiling. The stairs are also quite steep and again you have to be careful. My main comment are around the lack of small things like no shower mat, nowhere to put soap/ shampoo in the shower, only 2 dishwasher tablets, no dishcloth, one sponge/ scourer pad, no cleaning sprays, one tea towel, one laundry capsule, a small amount of washing up...

"Cleverly designed to make use of the tight space with a great shower. Unfortunately we had 6 days of cold and sometimes wet weather which meant we never used the outdoor space or pool and therefore missed the indoor space to relax."

"We returned to En Macary this year and, like last year, had a fabulous time. Jean-Claude and Francoise were the perfect hosts and the house, garden and pool continue to exceed expectations. While we spent most of the time pottering around the local village and swimming we also enjoyed visiting the jardins des martels, penne castle, Castres and rocks of Sidobre. All in all, couldn’t ask for a better holiday"

"This cottage is a wonderful home and our hosts were wonderful too. They had thought of everything that guests might need for their comfort and they were so helpful and kind. The cottage is set in the most peaceful location we have ever visited with no noise or light pollution so the perfect place for relaxation and refreshment.
