"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Riu Santa Fe. Rght of the bet we loved the four Riu Parties we experienced during our one week stay at the property. They were off the top. We also loved spending time in the infinity pools looking over the rock formations and enjoying the cocktails. As we don’t like appointments on vacation and like free flowing as we feel, rather prefered the main buffet for food and was able to find plenty tasty dishes among the available options. Only thing it was lacking was the desserts. The grounds and the pools were clean and well kept. Employees we encountered were helpful, polite and friendly."

"Pros ... Food - Lots of dining options, most of the food at the dining hall and restaurants were overall great and solid quality. Cafe - wonderful and they have ice cream! Room - Very nice modern, bathtub/jacuzzi, etc. Premises - kept neat and clean with constant supply of cleaning staff. Cons ... Prices for goods - very expensive items at the gift shop, souvenir, supplies, etc. Make sure to purchase all items before hand. 3 large bags of chips cost "only $25 usd!". I think $40 - $60 usd for sunscreen lotion. Entertainment - the bowling alley and escape room are pay-per-use. It should be all-included subject to reservation/availability or at least reduce the price a bit. The price is too high and therefore it was empty most of the time. Games - Wish they had more air hockey table. Location - very out of the way, nothing nearby. Expensive taxi if you want to leave hotel resort area to stroll around the city. Other thoughts ... - If you plan an extended stay, might want to consider the legendary pass as it offers access to an additional pool/bar, restaurant, etc. For short stays (3 nights or less), don't bother. - Listen to the sales associates. It's not a timeshare. Give them the time of day during check-in as it will be your only overview of the resort and its services/offerings. I regret being impulsively dismissive not knowing about the different events/offerings and wish I had tuned in a bit more."

"Initially, I was concerned about the size of the house with 3 couples as in the past we have always rented larger homes. However, this home was the perfect size, the shared living space has an open floor plan allowing everyone to gather comfortably in the kitchen/dining/living room. The rooftop gives you an amazing view of the ocean and golf course. If you have golfers in the group, they have entered into paradise. I would suggest booking tee times months in advance. The resort property is huge with many restaurants and pools to enjoy. They have the cutest market with all of the food and desserts you could imagine. Renting a golf cart is critical to navigate the property. When venturing out we used the Copala Concierge that was phenomenal at quickly scheduling transportation out of the property. The sunsets at the clubhouse are breathtaking with a very chic Miami vibe on the beach. Downtown Cabo is only 2 miles away but it takes about 25 minutes to get there due to leaving the pottery and traffic. Kathleen did an amazing job at recommending an amazing chef and offering specific check-in instructions. Her team was quick with answering questions. 10/10, would definitely return. "
