"Stayed 5 nights. Host was fantastic, the property was very comfortable. Like any old cabin there were quarks and the wifi was spotty during the day, sometimes not working at all which made it difficult for me to get a little work done. Luckily this wasn’t a work trip so I never mentioned it to the host or I’m confident if I did, they would have immediately worked to resolve the issue. "This is a beautiful rustic cabin with many amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge deck with views of the bay and mountains (on a clear day), quiet location, and warm and toasty on chilly nights. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed well equipped, and a new grill is available on the deck. There is a bit of a slope to walk down from parking area to the entrance but the path with steps is fine. Stairs down to the water are solid with storage for kayaks, etc. if you have them. "The property is beautiful and we had a pleasant stay, but there are a handful of notes that would have turned this into a 5-star experience: 1) The property features two queen size beds and one twin bed. All of the mattresses are STIFF. Not firm, STIFF. We had some pretty rough nights on these. If you can't replace the mattresses, at least include some plush mattress covers. 2) The top tier balcony was off-limits, with P-touch stickers on the door demanding guests not open it. "This treehouse was a really nice stay for our daughter and her new husband! They loved how cute it was and the location was really beautiful. When we originally booked the stay a while back, we did not know that the property was shared outside. I think the listing reflects that more now. There were some issues with the door locking from the inside, but other than that, they had a great stay!"
