"Super close to the top of the ski lift, like it only took about 30 seconds to ride my bike from the lift to the driveway. Awesome kitchen. Chalet is a tad dated on decor but it adds some charm. Seems like an actual family’s vacation home and not some conglomerate rental company. Would definitely stay there again, the location is great and it would be a great space to share with a few friends snowboarding or riding mountain bikes for a weekend."

"My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!"

"We recently stayed at this property over Thanksgiving with our family of 10 and our dog, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home. The kitchen was very well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our holiday meals. It had everything we could have asked for.The kids loved spending time in the game room, which kept them entertained for hours. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well. One of my favorite parts of the stay...

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "Our family spent Thanksgiving here so that we could have a beautiful view of the mountains and a fireplace roaring while we cooked Thanksgiving dinner, and spent time together. This truly was a home away from home, and delivered everything we had hoped for and more."

"Very nice, large home, and well equipped for our stay. Great neighborhood to walk our dog down to the resort. The only minor suggestions we have are to update a few things that are showing their age, such as the grill and deck furniture. Owners were very responsive whenever we had questions."

"We stayed at the River access cabin for 5 nights with our 2 doggies and had such a nice time. The absence of traffic noise at night time while listening to whippoor wills was glorious. We enjoyed Bob fires, hot tubbing, lazy days at the lake in the trout pond recreational area and a hike to Cranny Crow overlook in Lost River State Park. We took some adorable #almostheaven photos on the swing at the top. The cabin is well appointed with various cookware, WiFi and a smart tv which we never used....

"Had a lovely stay in a beautiful, modern home. It was peaceful and felt secluded. Ideal spot to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a modern getaway."

"Such a nice getaway and so very cozy. We spent the weekend here as a getaway following our wedding. It was a quiet area and the layout was great for me with mobility issues and the yard is incredible and a great place for dogs, we had our service animals with us and the amenities they provided for dogs were great too. We will definitely try to stay again."

Hotel Madison & Shenandoah Conference Ctr

"The property is not handicap friendly. I walk with a cane. You have to walk quite a bit, even if you park in a handicap space. There were no luggage carriers, so we had to make two trips. Also, there was no microwave in the room. At this price there should be one."

"The front desk manager, Melissa, was extremely helpful when there was an issue with the thermostat in our room. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, due to an impending snow storm, we had to cut our stay short. Melissa worked with the gentleman from Expedia to complete my travel insurance claim. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Harrisonburg University Area, an IHG Hotel

"This should be the GOLD STANDARD for Holiday Inn Express. It always more than pleases. Breakfast.....superb! If you need to be in Harrisonburg dont bypass a stay. Even the sheets are top quality and a pillow is a PILLOW! NUMBER 1 in our book but this morning catastrophe at breakfast bar. Again pancake machine broken. It was broken three weeks ago too. Lady tending breakfast bar has extremely long hair. Should be up and you dont fix and empty a broken toaster by turning it upside down dorcing crumbs obto the coubter. There is a backroom for that"
