"The best escape that we could use have hoped for! Beautiful views and songbird symphonies in the morning. Had sunshine and a thunderstorm to enjoy, couldn’t have been a better stay!"

"The stay was very pleasant. Everything was very clean including the outdoor furniture! Be sure to bring your own bedding. Luray is about 15 minute drive with some shops, and a Walmart for last-minute items. Recommend and would visit again."

"House was nice and we enjoyed our time there. Deer greeted us morning and evening and walked right to us, kids loved it. Location was great for our skiing trip. The drive way was super steep and was a problem for a flat lander like me and my minivan. That was the biggest area of concern for us. "

Did not realize property was on a mountain that had steep hills, just a fear of mine so it was more jarring for me but it may be nothing of substance for someone else who is used to country living. "Great family getaway. Cute and fun, i would just say it was lacking on providing full amenties and cleaniness. For example there was a brochure of listed items provided in cabin and their charges, we didnt have a couple of listed items such as the smores kit. Our unit was equipped with full items to cook with such as oil packets but the unit next to ours (used by same group) had oil and others things we did not. Just inconsistent with products available. "Simple Pleasures cabin could not have been named any better! Everything is top notch and comfortable. The pool table was great, as was the vintage arcade games! We watched otters, deer, blue heron, redtails and more from the porch. Hard to leave this place! The owners are great at communicating and could not be better! "
