"Botanic Rest B&B was clean and basic. It lost points for noise and safety. When we checked in we took our suitcases up the stairs. About halfway to our room in the hallway on a few stairs up, a man was doing some repairs in the doorway to a room. His tools (including an electric screwdriver) were in the middle of the stars and hallway. We had to move them, so we could get past. Pretty unsafe. The breakfast was nice. They had the usual continental breakfast and you could order hot items off...

"Was unable to check in online however self check in on arrival was very straight forward and had no issues, were even able to check in over an hour early. Room was spotless and ample size. Staff in the bar were on hand for anything we needed and very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will certainly use again"

A healthy walk to city centre. The staff was kind and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage for the day after we checked out. "
