"Our host, Adam, was wonderfully communicative and very helpful.The house is located in a safe gated neighborhood about a quarter mile from the ocean. The listing was fairly accurate, although I think you share the patio with the other people in the house. The second bed and desk are not actually in this listing, but perhaps a door unlocks to access them. You can park on the street. Hot water showers are dependent on whether the propane is full (Adam kindly filled it for us after my cold shower)....

"The house was great with an awesome view but the is some maintenance needing done. No shower head in one shower, the other shower's handheld shower head hose was broken, tile in the kitchen sink were loose, the access to the rooftop terrace was boarded off, and there is no AC in the main part of the house (ac was good in all 3 bedrooms). If those maintenance issues were addressed then 5 star."

"We didn't realize until we got there, how close we'd be to the water. It was soooo beautiful! The sunrise between palm trees and the moon light at night reflecting between those same trees was like a beautiful postcard. Most mornings we would get up and walk the beach to watch the sunrise with wet feet. The beach was long, surf was powerful. Very meditative. "We had a great stay. Property was very clean and the pool is amazing. Tonya, the owner, was responsive to all of our questions. Air conditioning worked great, which is needed in the humid rainforest. My kids enjoyed the meal we cooked in the community kitchen. Great spot!"

"House was cozy and comfortable. Easy check-in and very good communication by host. It’s on a dead end so quiet and felt safe. One thing that wasn’t On the listing is that they have a big trailer on the property on the right side of the home so we really didn’t have yard space and it appeared that someone was either living in the trailer or spending lots of time there. Other than that the property matched the listing. We did enjoy our stay and appreciated the flexibility of the host. "

These is some kind of electrical panel that buzzes loudly and kept beeping it is locked behind a grate, but you can see lightsflickering all night, not a good room to sleep in. Pros: Large home with lots of space and room for 2 families of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids each) to spread out. Loved the location, gated community, ocean view, pool, & available laundry. Manuel (the host) was friendly and easy to communicate with. Cons: For our 10 day stay, it was not ideal having to live out of suitcases since there were no available drawers to unpack luggage. "I found this place to be a beautiful getaway, despite the power outage in the house (which was not the host's fault). It was truly a unique experience. The host was excellent with communication and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for a single family. However, the bedding may not be ideal for larger family gatherings, especially with elderly members. The neighbors were incredibly kind and helpful during the outage. "We had 6. 4 college age girls and 2 parents. We did the rainforest tour, bioluminescent bay, snorkeling, and Old San Juan. It was the perfect location to do these things within equal driving distance. We also enjoyed the pool and beach there plenty. The place was nice and clean. Any issues Jay was on immediately and the communication was great "
