"Stayed for one night as our son was attending a swimming clinic at GL1 in Gloucester. Great to be able to check in at 2pm rather than the usual 3-4pm. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Would definitely stay again."

Our room (202) was very clean,cosy,comfortable and atmospheric as were the various rooms downstairs where we enjoyed a delicious evening meal and breakfast . The staircase and old beams with paintings of the Tudor Monarchs were magnificent. A real step back in time. We would definitely love to pay a return visit. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Only comment is at breakfast need to keep serving utensils clearly labelled and products in individual heating units to avoid contamination. Staff were very helpful helping one of my family have a cooked breakfast which was tomato free dur to an allergy. "
