The house is old and it's obvious, but that adds to the rustic charm. You can tell the owner loves it. There are kayaks and firewood in the garage and some basic kitchen essentials. "The pathway to the house was uneven, sloppy wet, pavers broken uneven and wobbly. The bridge was slick and slippery. The house overall was nice and clean. Took a shower door did not shut properly had to force shut, leaked water ALL over the floor definitely was not out in correctly. It felt like it was going to fall apart when shutting the door. Pathway string lights had like 7-10 working along two strings of 40 so 80 lights. Couldn’t shut off fireplace so had to unplug it. Everything was run...

"My family and I had a great time at the Harstine Island Cabin. It's in a wonderful location tucked back into the woods for a tranquil, camp like setting. And we loved it's close proximity to the beach. Our family of 3 loved how the loft has been updated and we all comfortably slept up there and left the bedroom open, so it would comfortably sleep more than us. "It was beautiful. A great place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Cabin was fully equipped..everything was there as if it was my own home. Books, games, music, ..all the must haves being on vacation. Communication was great! Olga responded quickly when emailed....we were looking for certain things to start the fire pit! The only thing....heat was much heated. We came in and the place was cold. Had to keep our coats on for awhile. Suggest maybe heating it up before guests come during winter?...

"Great place to relax and enjoy the lake. Very clean, lots of amenities. As many others have mentioned the furniture padding and mattress on the bed really need to be replaced as the furniture and bed are not very comfortable. Hopefully they will listen to their guests and make some improvements. "

"We stayed in this cute yurt during a super stressful move out of state. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Parking was spacious and it was nice to be in a residential neighborhood with quick access to the airport. Would stay here again!"

"We had a great time during our stay. I do have a recommendation, though. Please upgrade the paper products -- the paper towels and toilet paper are both thin and cheap. We didn't have enough toilet paper or regular bath towels for three adults and a child."
