"This is a great location for launching to the east side of the big island. Not many restaurants close by so prepare to do most of your own cooking.Pool and hot tub on site were excellent, and the short walk/drive to the black sand beach was its best selling point.So… these condos/casitas/ohanas were built in 1976, snd there are some of those touches still in place in this unit. Largest one is that the walls are transmissive to sound from the neighboring unit. Otherwise a great stay!"

"Small complex (for now) easy access, close parking, nice pool area with grills and hot tub, beautiful view of ocean, short walk to a black sand beach with turquoises sunning, half hour from volcano national park. Loved it."

"Unit had everything we needed. No air conditioning but lots of fans, still was too warm for us. It is very close to the pool with nice ocean views and sounds of the waves crashing. Pool was nice, not sure how often it was cleaned, the hot tub was nice but not filtered enough as it did have a heavy sunscreen film. No umbrellas available at the pool if you want shade. "
