"The Pacifica Inn is just a few minutes from the Volcano National Park and part of a great little neighborhood. Even though in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded and in your own little tropical forest. We stayed in the Gecko and Volcano rooms. I feel this is a best option when you are traveling with friends and/or another couple to have your own spaces ... but still in the same building/property. Communication with the host was great!"

"We chose this property based on reviews, affordability and lovely decor! I am so glad we did. "This property and the host, Ruth, is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The location is rural, which is a plus for us. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The place is immaculate, so comfortable and she’s thought of everything to make our stay feel special. "There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted. However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint...

"We always love staying at the Volcano Golf and Country Club neighborhood. Our stay here was comfortable and quiet. The hostess was kind and gracious. Future guests should be aware that the bathroom does not have a sink. The only sink is in the kitchen. This made things a bit more complicated but we adjusted."

"We had an amazing time on our trip. The cottage is clean and stocked with everyday kitchen items like pans, plates, coffee mugs, coffee pot etc. Dish soap is provided. We were thrilled to see a washer and dryer! The beds were comfortable as well. There is a full sized refrigerator to stock with food you can pick up from Costco in Kona.
