"We just loved it! Way beyond our expectations! The cabin was was so very cozy, and everything was just wonderful. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. The cabin gives you the feel as if you are back in the 1800s, yet had all of the modern conveniences to enjoy and relax with. The complimentary bottle of wine was so nice! We will be back!"

"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"Gorgeous area, cute comfy cabin that was very well built, bucolic farmyard surroundings, friendly owners offering plenty of privacy, minutes to Floyd; it was perfect. As noted by the owners this place is for you if you’ll love being on a small family farm so of course there are chickens and goats and dogs and a horse, etc.; it’s awesome. "Milda and Brandey did everything to make our stay blissful in this private, enchanted space. As Brandey predicted, the daffodils had started to bloom, which made for a beautiful backdrop along with the ponds. We had a small group for a ceremony and a buffet, eat-from-your-lap style dinner. "Our winter weekend at Lost Horizon was perfect. The home is a gem inside and out with so many gathering spaces, amazing views, as well as privacy. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and sleeping in the comfy beds. The owner has an amazing collection of books displayed throughout her beautifully decorated home. "We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s what we needed to get away for the weekend. The place has everything we needed and it has that simple yet cozy feel to it. We love how quiet it is staying there, the surroundings are clean and it’s that secluded yet close to everything little peaceful place we needed.Host was great at communicating with us as well.
