"Hotel itself is basic but fine. Staff are friendly but hotel is poorly run. We paid for a room with a city view and balcony. Got a room without either because the room we paid for was not available until the last day of our 4 day stay! Have requested refund of cost difference between the two rooms, but haven"t received anything yet. Breakfast was pretty bad and service was slow (nearly 30 min to get a cup of coffee the first day!). Good location if you want to go to Rodadero Beach. The hotel is not in the Santa Marta historic district, as described in the listing. It is a 15 min cab ride from location described in listing. Although I told the staff and hotels.com about the error, it had not been corrected last I checked. "

"No conocía este sector de Santa Marta (Gaira) y decidí venir por curiosidad. Es un lugar bastante agitado y concurrido, pero al entrar al Hotel 3H se siente un cambio inmediato: un oasis en medio del bullicio. Es quizá la mejor opción en la zona. Por un precio muy accesible, tienes habitaciones cómodas, desayuno incluido y parqueadero privado, lo cual es un gran plus para la comodidad y seguridad de los huéspedes. El ambiente dentro del hotel es relajante, y el personal es muy atento. Por su relación calidad - precio es altamente recomendado."

"Great location. Comfortable. Needs a bit more character. Maybe some inexpensive wall art and plants. The ones there are in pretty bad shape. Mary and Viviana, our hostesses are very kind, sweet, caring. Guided us and provided useful tips . Mary did recommend we go to a local eatery: Beer Garden where we were totally ignored to the point we walked out. Not her fault though. The ladies are constantly sweeping and cleaning, and always welcome guests in a polite manner and a smile. We witnessed many guests come and go. Busy spot. They made us feel at home. Warm homey environment. "
