"I had the pleasure of spending the Christmas holidays at Black Bear Chateu in Colorado Springs. The home was beautiful and my host, Mary Louise, had decorated my home with Christmas lights and decorations which made me feel right at home. "The property itself is beautiful and well kept. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and open space. The location is on a rougher side of Pueblo with a lot of transients and run down homes. However, the property is fenced in and I felt very safe . It was a great price in a spot really close to down town. I really loved it and would stay again . "

The occupants that live on the property and share washer and dryer left stuff in both the washer and dryer the entire time of our stay (five nights).That was really difficult with a family and my parents not to be able to wash. "Came into Colorado springs for Thanksgiving. This was a great place to stay. Nice and clean. Very spacious. There were 8 of us in the house and never felt crowded. Plenty of extra towels pillows and bedding were available. The kitchen was well stocked for any cooking or baking needs. The property was well kept and there was a decent sized dog run for the fur babies. "The hotel is on the outskirts of town but that definitely had its advantages, it was a lot more quiet , less busy , and the pricing was slightly less . Over all stay was great . Nice breakfast friendly staff and very accommodating management ! Thanks for a wonderful trip"
