"This comfortable, spacious and clean house near the James River was perfect for a Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was well supplied, the pool table a hit, the location private with beautiful trees and a short distance from a lovely shelled beach with Cypress trees. We went to Williamsburg via ferry and to Norfolk for a tour of the Battleship Wisconsin, each a bit over an hour away. The host was easily reached and answered queries quickly. A great get-away!"

" Overall good stay, we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner at the location. We had sufficient items and utensils to work with. Small problems are front door exterior light on porch not working. Also shower water does not get hot enough. Water from facet will scald but the showers are not adjusted to provide adequate hotwater. The neighborhood is less than desirable but tolerable for those that live in an ethnicly diverse environment. I was ok with this because I live in an ethnicly diverse...

"What a great property. Location was easy to get to, check in was a breeze. Lots of room, loved that we were able to set at the kitchen table and talk, well stocked kitchen with all cooking necessities. This was a sibling weekend for 4 of us with my younger brother who is fighting brain cancer. We were able to just sit and talk. We hope to get back and will definitely stay here again."

"This was an amazing weekend that we didnt even know we were going to have. This Home was classical. Large enough for 12 people to not even feel crowded at any time. The kids forgot about there phones ipads and games as they wondered around the place along with hiking down to the beach. The Adults were just in awe."

"We stayed 3 nights for bike riding on the Virginia-Capital Trail. The location is almost mid-way between Richmond and Williamsburg, directly across from the trail on the John Tyler Memorial Hwy. The amenities were just right: a good sleep, hot shower, comfortable living room for reading or TV. The kitchen/living room makes eating-in easy, but there are also local eateries that provide good, classical food. If you’re into bike riding, this mid-way location will allow you to cover a lot of ground...

"We chose this property to stay at the week of Thanksgiving leading up my daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. This property turned out to be the perfect Haven for us. We had a larger group with some rotation of family and friends staying with us before and after the wedding. There is so much space in the house. The owner was very quick to acknowledge and resolve an issue upon arriving. You won’t be disappointed choosing this location for a get away. "
